ZAMBIA

BACK TO DESTINATIONS

The famous Victoria Falls, so named by Dr. David Livingstone, is a crossroads of southern Africa tourism on the northern side of the Zambezi River.  Livingstone, Zambia is an excellent stop to view Victoria Falls.  The rest of the country is a large area ranging from hilly, woodland bush in the eastern Luangwa Valley, to open savanna along the country’s western border with Angola. The Zambezi River provides some of the finest white-water rafting in the world.  Fishing in the lower Zambezi.  A deep safari to rarely visited areas.

You are in a remote, pristine part of Africa.  The lodge is a rustic outdoor retreat situated on the northern bank of the Zambezi River. Animals roam freely through the camp.  Indigenous trees shade the 10 large, walk-in tents. Each has a hot shower, individual deck, flush toilets, and twin beds. Activities include game drives, boat excursions on the river, fishing for tiger fish and bream, canoeing, hiking and camping in the bush.  Or, relax in the plunge pool.
